The 4.1 percent increase was attributed to acquisitions made in the past 12 months. Same-store revenue declined by 3.3 percent during the quarter. Year to date, the division reported revenue of $499.6 million, compared to $477.1 million in the year-ago period. The Laboratory Division reported second-quarter revenue of $82.8 million, up from $81.8 million in the year-ago period. Year to date, the division’s revenue was $160.3 million, a rise from $158.6 million in the year-ago period. The Medical Technology Division reported revenue of $10.6 million in the second quarter, compared to $11.8 million in the year-ago period. Year to date, the division reported revenue of $19.8 million, compared to $25.7 million in the year-ago period. Overall, the Los Angeles company saw net income of $39 million on revenue of $344.9 million in the second quarter, compared to $41.4 million and $334.4 million, respectively, in the year-ago period.
