Telehealth group gets distribution deal

MWI Animal Health is set to offer Petriage’s telemedicine services as part of a veterinary toolkit

A newly announced collaboration between a veterinary distribution company and a telehealth service provider aims to digitally connect clinics and clients.

MWI Animal Health has announced a deal with Petriage to bring the service provider's telehealth platform to practices across North America.

"Our work with Petriage and its telehealth capabilities is timely as we continue to grapple with the impact of COVID-19 while meeting our commitment to create healthier futures for the pets and other animals our veterinary customers serve," says MWI's Animal Health's vice president of product strategy, Brian Topper.

"With its huge reach and consummate relationship with veterinary clinics in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., MWI's specialty sales representatives will help guide their customers to our services so we can demonstrate the benefits to them of pet telehealth," adds Petriage CEO Allon Freiman.
