The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) has launched a global veterinary fundraising campaign to support animals affected by the Southern California wildfires. Donations will benefit the Pasadena Humane Wildfire Relief Fund, with NAVC matching contributions up to $25,000. The initiative coincides with the annual Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX), held January 25–29 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

"So many animals ... have been impacted by the catastrophic fires in Southern California and are in immediate need of homes and medical care. The veterinary community understands how urgent these needs are and is looking for ways to contribute and help now," says NAVC CEO Gene O'Neill. "Nearly 30,000 veterinary professionals from more than 82 countries will be gathered together at VMX 2025 starting this weekend. NAVC will provide easy opportunities for them to make a donation to Pasadena Humane and, together, we can multiply our impact on the lives of these animals, their families and the tireless veterinary staff working to save the animals."

Veterinary professionals worldwide are encouraged to contribute, with 100% of donations going to the relief fund. Supporters can donate online via SHOP NAVC or in person at VMX donation bins in the registration booths. On-site donors will receive a "One Love" sticker as a token of appreciation.

NAVC aims to unite the global veterinary community to aid animals in need. Donations will directly support wildfire relief efforts, ensuring care and resources for impacted animals.
