Phyto Animal Health has signed an agreement with distribution company Mr. Checkout to sell its line of cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil pet products to members of the Independent Pet Retailer Association (IPRA). “We are elated to partner with Mr. Checkout to distribute our hemp pet products to thousands of new retailers,” said Phyto Animal Health chief executive officer, Ian Quinn. “We are constantly seeking opportunities to expand our reach and we trust this deal will help us increase access to CBD and raise awareness about the many health and wellness benefits of CBD for companion animals.” Phyto Animal Health is the latest company to bring CBD and hemp products to market. Currently, veterinarians in most states are not permitted to discuss the use of cannabis-based medicine with pet owners. “We believe this partnership will be both lucrative and rewarding as we distribute the company’s all-natural, sustainable products to thousands of independent retailers throughout North America,” said Mr. Checkout chief executive officer, Joel Goldstein.
