Of the various conditions that can cause encephalopathies in dogs, those seen in higher frequencies in French bulldogs include otitis media-interna and resultant otogenic meningoencephalitis, meningoencephalitis of unknown etiology, and high-grade gliomas. Each will be discussed below.
