Diamond Pet Foods issued its third dog food recall in the past month due to salmonella contamination in a product manufactured at the company’s Gaston, S.C., facility, which recently ceased production. Earlier this month, Diamond recalled several lots of its Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice dry dog food and halted production at the Gaston plant two days later.
